Joey Metzger

Executive Director/Safety Director

Joey Metzger serves as the Safety Director of Saving Grace Farm Ministry. Guided by his relationship with Jesus Christ, Joey oversees the safety of the ministry believing that every person who comes to the farm should feel safe, supported, and cared for.

In his role as Safety Director, he creates and maintains the ministry’s safety procedures, training processes, and emergency plans. His priority is to ensure a safe environment for every participant, family, volunteer, and horse on the property.

Joey was introduced to horses when he met his wife (Sarah Metzger), and he quickly developed a deep respect for the connection horses can create with people. Through hands-on sessions, Joey wants to help individuals build confidence, learn trust, and experience peace through the calm presence of horses.

Faith and family are central to everything Joey does. He and his family are committed to using the farm as a place of ministry, where people can experience the love of Jesus Christ through kindness, encouragement, and meaningful time spent with horses.
