Sarah Norris

Session Coordinator

Sarah Norris loves Jesus, kids, and horses!  Sarah began trusting Jesus from a young age and have been growing closer to Him every day. Sarah is excited to be a part of a ministry that blends these passions.

Sarah is married to Chock and has 5 kids, (3 married, 2 still at home) and 7 grandkids. As a stay-at-home mom she cherishes the mother-work God has given her to do.  There have been many years of gardens, animals (our kids showed sheep), old house renovations, high school and college sports, 4-H advising and camp counseling, off and on homeschooling, bible studies, and church serving.

Chock and Sarah were foster and adoptive parents for 10 years in Allen County.  She served on the Allen Co. Foster Parent Assoc. and the Allen Co. Children First Council as a parent representative. These years taught her how to trust God with ALL her children in some very difficult circumstances. Through many years of training for all things foster care, what Sarah learned the most is that God’s love is bigger. Always.

Sarah got her first horse, Patty at age 10.  Oh, the stories of learning with her first horse!  She rode Western and English in 4-H and was on the county and Ohio Quarter Horse judging teams. In college Sarah was able to show in the hunter jumper circuit. She had the opportunity to sit under a few good trainers who taught her more about the details of horsemanship.  As her family grew, Sarah was able to teach riding lessons off and on at several places.

Sarah has repeatedly experienced the amazing growth a person can have when connecting with a horse.  People and horses at times need healing. God seems to have designed it that they can do this together, with His grace and in His timing.  It is an honor to do this work for the Lord at Saving Grace Farm Ministry.
